Attainable Goals

Goal setting is something I am not very good at. I tend to set my goals too high and am always disappointed with myself when I do not achieve them. However, goals ARE important to set, but they need to be broken down into steps so that the end goal doesn’t seem so far away.

For example, if my goal is to be able to ride bikes with my kids next summer, and be more fit and active, I can say that that is my goal. But how do I achieve that goal? What steps will I take to get there and how do I stay motivated to continue on when I’ve hit a plateau?

That’s where an Ann Arbor personal trainer would come in handy. They take a physical assessment of your overall health and wellness and use that as a tool to help design a workout goal that is achievable. Best of all, they give you the motivation and encouragement you need to keep going and they change up your exercise routine so that you don’t get bored.

With a step-by-step approach, goal setting IS possible, I CAN be out there chasing after my kids all summer long!
